  Dear Members and Students, We are pleased to inform you that the new intakes of the Professional Diploma in Tax Advisory programme jointly offered by The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong and CityU School of Continuing and Professional Education (SCOPE) has started. Upon completion of this Programme, you are eligible to apply for exemptions from Paper 2 “Hong Kong Tax” and Paper 3 “International Tax” of the Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) Qualifying Examination organised by the Institute. You can also enjoy a one-off waiver of examination fee for sitting Paper 4 “PRC Tax” and Paper 5 “Advanced Taxation Practice” within two years after completing the Programme. In view of the growing importance of wealth management and financial planning, the Society of Registered Finanancial Planners (HKRFP) is launching the Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2023 (the “Award”) for undergraduate students. The aims of the Award are to raise the awareness of financial planning among students and to equip them with adequate preparation for a career in the financial planning industry.
