Speaker Profile

Siddharth Dadu is an Associate Partner in PW & Co International Tax Services with around 16 years of specialized experience in domestic and international taxation, advising a broad spectrum of multinational and large Indian clients across diversified sectors.

Siddharth has been extensively involved in providing end‑to‑end tax services to clients operating in varied industries, including technology (travel technology), aviation, manufacturing, services, e-commerce, consumer, infrastructure and financial services, enabling him to bring a strong commercial and sector‑specific perspective to his tax advice.

Siddharth also has extensive experience in advising on inbound investments and tax‑efficient structures for multinationals proposing to establish or expand operations in India. This includes profit repatriation and cash extraction analysis (dividend/bonus/buyback/capital reduction or other best suitable option), advising on choice of entry vehicle, group holding and financing structures, location and entity rationalization, and alignment of operational models with Indian tax, regulatory and foreign exchange considerations. He has worked on complex tax structuring and growth‑planning mandates, helping global groups evaluate alternative structures, assess tax leakages and long‑term sustainability, and implement models that balance tax efficiency with operational and governance requirements.

In the international tax space, Siddharth regularly advises on interpretation and application of double taxation avoidance agreements, characterization of cross‑border payments, permanent establishment and attribution issues, and mitigation of double taxation. He assists clients in structuring inter‑company arrangements and cross‑border transactions in a manner that is both tax‑efficient and defensible, while keeping in view emerging global developments such as BEPS, Pillar Two and increased disclosure and transparency requirements. He is also a regular speaker in various public forums like ASSOCHAM, IFA etc. on various tax issues.
