Description

Important notes for enrolling the 2022 CTA Examination:

  1. 2022 CTA Examination enrollment deadline: noon, 14 September 2022 (Wednesday).

  2. To apply for exemption from the CTA Examination, please download and complete the “2022 CTA Examination Enrollment Form” at www.tihk.org.hk/cat-forms

  3. All examination fees and exemption fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.

  4. Students and graduate of CityU SCOPE’s Professional Diploma in Tax Advisory can enjoy two examination fee waivers (for enrolling Papers 4 and 5 of the CTA Examination). The waivers are valid for two years, starting from the year of study.

  5. The schedule for the 2022 CTA Examination is as follows:

Paper Examination Date Examination Fee
Paper 1 – Accounting and Finance Wednesday, 19 October 2022, 2pm – 5pm HKD1,600 per paper
Paper 2 – Hong Kong Tax Thursday, 20 October 2022, 9am – 12 noon
Paper 3 – International Tax Friday, 21 October 2022, 9am – 12 noon
Paper 4 – PRC Tax Thursday, 20 October 2022, 2pm – 5pm
Paper 5 – Advanced Taxation Practice Friday, 21 October 2022, 2pm – 5pm

If you opt to pay by cheque, please mail the cheque to the TIHK secretariat before the enrollment deadline. The cheque should make payable to “The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong”.

Please mark 1) your membership no. and 2) “2022 CTA Examination” on the back of your cheque for identification.
