Description

About the Seminar

The video will be available for viewing until 30 June 2026.

To keep pace with the global digital transformation in tax administration and information technology, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has been actively taking forward various tax digital initiatives.  Among others, the IRD has launched the first phase of mandatory electronic filing (e-filing) of profits tax returns and electronic Block Extension Scheme (e-BES) on 1 April 2026.

In this webinar, Ms. Bo Bo Hui, Assistant Commissioner of Inland Revenue (Profits Tax) will lead her team to brief us on the details of the first phase of mandatory e-filing and the e-BES.  They will demonstrate how to register the accounts with the Business Tax Portal and Tax Representative Portal, which facilitate seamless e-filing of tax returns, e-submission of block extension applications/notifications, and access to other e-services.  They will also update us on the latest e-filing services and iXBRL filing requirements.

No CPD hours will be granted if you have already attended the live webinar on 14 April 2026.
