The Institute has established a number of committees, under the purview of the Council, to look after different matters. You are now invited to put forward your nomination. Building on the success of the Belt and Road Conference held since 2017, The Law Society of Hong Kong's International Summit 2023 in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative will be held on Wednesday, 11 October 2023 at the Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriot Hotel in a hybrid format. Themed "Peace and Prosperity on the Belt and Road", the Summit will examine how mediation can resolve commercial and sovereign disputes, and provide a platform for sharing practical skills and knowledge on mediation/ negotiation/ deal-making. In view of the growing importance of wealth management and financial planning, the Society of Registered Finanancial Planners (HKRFP) is launching the Hong Kong Undergraduate Financial Planners of the Year Award 2023 (the “Award”) for undergraduate students. The aims of the Award are to raise the awareness of financial planning among students and to equip them with adequate preparation for a career in the financial planning industry. As of latest year, over 200 students from regional universities have entered into the Award competition and responses have been overwhelming. 税務局 – 提提你填報利得税報税表的申報要求 今年填報利得税報税表時，請你特別注意以下新的申報要求： 1. 如你在評税基期內有任何入息的話，你必須連同利得税報税表一併提交所有佐證文件﹙包括財務報表和利得税計算表﹚。總入息金額不超過200萬元的小型法團及業務在提交利得税報税表時將不再獲允許豁免提交佐證文件。 2. 所有須與利得税報税表一併提交的相關補充表格及其他表格（在適當情況下）必須透過「香港政府一站通」下「税務易」的電子服務平台以電子方式提交。 税務局已提升「税務易」的電子報税功能，讓更多法團及業務（不包括獨資經營業務）可自願以電子方式提交利得税報税表，連同以網頁內嵌式可擴展商業報告語言 (iXBRL) 擬備的財務報表和利得税計算表一併提交。税務局鼓勵你透過「税務易」平台參與自願性利得税電子報税，作為文本方式提交利得税報税表的替代方案，並可獲延期多一個月提交期限。 有關利得税報税表的新申報要求，可瀏覽税務局網站( www.ird.gov.hk/chi/tax/bus_cpt.htm﹚。查詢「税務易」的服務，可致電「税務易」支援熱線 183 2011。有關使用税務局iXBRL數據擬備工具的查詢，可電郵到[email protected]，你亦可透過網上預約提前預訂指定的時段，我們將在預定的時間致電給你，解答相關查詢。...
