Since the initiation of the Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) project in 2013, the international tax landscape has continued to evolve, with many jurisdictions amending their tax laws and practices to take into account BEPS measures. Under such an environment, tax planning, which remains important for businesses, can be significantly affected.

Ms Gwenda Ho is Partner of PwC Hong Kong's Corporate Tax Practice, leading the Technology, Media and Telecommunications sector. She has over 20 years of experience in providing Hong Kong and international tax consulting and compliance services to local, regional and multinational clients. She has been actively involved in a number of tax due diligence, corporate restructuring, cross-border tax advisory, transfer pricing, tax investigations, IPO and blockchain / crypto-related projects. She has also been actively involved in providing comments on latest tax bills, and is a frequent public speaker on tax-related topics.
Gwenda graduated with a degree in Commerce from the University of Toronto and a degree in Laws from the University of London. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, as well as President of Association of Women Accountants (Hong Kong). She is also a Certified Tax Adviser (Hong Kong) and a Chartered Global Management Accountant.
Mr. Webster Ng, Vice President, The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong
Mr. Webster Ng is currently the proprietor and founder of Webster Ng & Co., Mr. Ng is a fellow Certified Public Accountant (Practising). He is currently the Vice-President of the Taxation Institute of Hong Kong (TIHK) and President of Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians Limited (HKIAAT), as well as the Council Member of The Society of Chinese Accountants and Auditors (SCAA) and Director of Accounting Development Foundation (ADF). Mr. Ng is member of Taxation Policy Committee of TIHK and has been awarded as Honorary Council member of the China Certified Tax Agents Association (CCTAA).
Mr. Alec Tong, Partner, Jupiter Capital Ltd
Mr. Alec Tong is a Chartered Accountant qualified with KPMG in London. He had held various senior finance positions in multi-national corporations including the Group Finance Director of Dairy Farm, Jardine Pacific and Zung Fu covering business operations in many Asian countries, and the Group Treasurer of Jardine Matheson. He has extensive business experience in retailing, motor dealerships, restaurants, engineering and construction, logistics and transportation, IT distribution and solutions. He is a member of the Qualification and Examinations Board, Professional Accountants in Business Committee and Professional Development Committee of HKICPA. He is the Vice-President of Hong Kong Institute of Accredited Accounting Technicians Limited (HKIAAT) and a Fellow Member of The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. He is also an Adjunct Professor at The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong and had completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.
Mr. Calvin Tse, Founder and CEO, Kam Kee Holdings Limited
Mr. Calvin Tse, a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants, graduated from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and then joined KPMG for his career. Further, he received a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of London and completed Master of Law at Renmin University of China. Since 2010, Calvin has become a serial entrepreneur in different industries. He is the awardee of HSBC Youth Business Award. Currently, he is the founder and CEO of Kam Kee Holdings Limited, which has over 600 employees and around 20 restaurants. Apart from running his own business, Calvin also devotes his time in the community. He is a frequent speaker in seminars and conferences related to business start-up and entrepreneurship. He is an adjunct professor for business administration, the president of Hong Kong General Chamber of Young Entrepreneurs and charter president of a rotary club.He is also the committee member of various Food & Beverages associations, accounting bodies and statutory board of the HK and mainland government.
Mr. Kim Man Wong, CFO, Hong Kong Electric Investments
Mr. Kim Man Wong is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Hong Kong Electric Investments. He has over 30 years of experience in financial management and accounting in Hong Kong and other countries. He holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business Administration. He is also a member of HKICPA. He has actively involved in accounting education and professional development all these years. He is currently the Chairman of Accountancy Advisory Board of Lingnan University and the Chairman of Professional Development Committee of HKICPA. He is also a Panel Convenor of the Financial Reporting Review Panel of Financial Reporting Council.
