SUMMARY:20230522 Completion of 2022/23 Profit Tax Returns
DESCRIPTION:On 1 April 2023\, the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) launched enhanced e-filing services for profits tax returns alongside with new features and filing modes to promote tax digitalization and to enhance the efficiency\, reliability and accuracy of profits tax filing. The new e-services include e-submission of all supplementary forms and other forms in XML format\, e-submission of supporting documents in iXBRL format\, semi-electronic filing of profits tax returns\, IRD iXBRL Data Preparation Tools for converting financial statements and tax computations into iXBRL data files and etc. \nOur speakers will walk you through new features of the enhanced e-filing of profits tax return services and filing modes; give a step-by-step demonstration to show the process of downloading supplementary forms and other forms\, completing\, saving\, uploading the required forms in XML format electronically and printing the control list; provide guidance on steps of completion and submission of the profits tax return online; and demonstrate the process flow of IRD iXBRL Data Preparation Tools from installation to generation of iXBRL finalised package. \n
