Source of profits and capital/revenue remain the most contentious issues in Hong Kong tax regime. Are you aware of the recent developments in case law and changes in revenue practice as regards offshore and capital claims? How will these changes affect your possible tax strategies?

As an international financial and trading centre, tax practitioners in Hong Kong often need to consider overseas tax implications with respect to cross-border transactions, particularly that of mainland China. Are you aware of the latest developments and common pitfalls on Hong Kong and mainland China cross border transactions?

The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong will launch a series of 3 evening workshops to provide you with an update of the latest developments on the above issues and their implications on your tax management and planning process. Each workshop will comprise a lecture session and an interactive case study to enable participants to apply the knowledge just learnt. Facilitators will also share ways to proactively and practically address typical tax issues often encountered by practitioners.
