In recent years, Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has step up its effort in tax investigations and field audit. The approaches adopted by IRD are more aggressive than before. We are delighted to invite MrPhilip Hung, Director of Tax Service, PwC Hong Kong, to explain to us the recent development and the practical approach in handling an IRD tax audit.

Mr Hung has over 20 years of experience in handling tax audit cases for clients. Other than helping clients to defend their tax position, Mr Hung also conducts health check exercise in order to strengthen their tax position. Mr Hung’s clients include multinational, local listed, small and medium sized companies from different industries.
